What actually happens when I open it?

You press play. Haven has already made today's meditation, so there is no library to search and nothing to choose. There are two each day, one for the morning and one for the night, and Haven shows whichever fits the time you opened it.

Is it free?

Yes, and not as a trial. Every day you get that day's meditation in full, for free, forever. Haven Pro adds the longer sessions, every voice, every background sound, the last twenty days to go back through, and a collection that keeps the ones you love for good. It costs 349 kr a year, 49 kr a month, or 19 kr a week.

Do I need to know how to meditate?

No. A voice talks you through it from the first second to the last. If your mind wanders, that is not a mistake, it is the thing itself.

How long is a session?

About five minutes on the free tier, which is enough on a night when five minutes is all you have. Pro adds a twelve minute and a twenty minute version of the same day's meditation.

How is the meditation written?

Each one is generated new for its day, using AI, from themes and a voice Haven sets. Nothing about you is sent anywhere to make it: the writing works from the theme, not from your data. It is original rather than a recording pulled from a shelf, which is why today's is different from yesterday's.

What happens to yesterday’s meditation?

On the free tier it passes: each day's meditation lives for its day, which is what keeps Haven a daily thing rather than a backlog. Pro opens the last twenty days so you can go back to one you missed, and anything you keep stays yours for good, past those twenty days.

Will it nag me?

One reminder a day, at a time you choose, and only if you turn it on. Haven does count the days you show up, but it only shows you that after you have finished, never to pull you back. Nothing catches fire, nothing is lost, and a day you miss is just a day you missed. An app that makes you feel bad at midnight is not helping you find peace.

What do you do with my data?

As little as possible. Haven is built in the EU and holds no advertising trackers, and your data is never sold. The detail is in the Privacy Policy and the list of sub-processors.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Haven is on iPhone today. Leave your email on the home page and we will tell you once when it arrives, and not otherwise.

Who makes it?

Haven is made by one person in Stockholm. There is no support desk and no ticket queue: if something is wrong, or you just want to tell someone how it went, write to support@gethaven.io and I read it myself. More about why Haven exists.
